• Pressing an external Bluetooth-connected button
• Alterations in heart rhythm
• Expiration of a countdown timer

The application is linked to the TeleMedik Response Center, providing round-the-clock assistance for various emergencies—ranging from health crises to natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, or fires, as well as road accidents, thefts, kidnappings, acts of violence, or any situation threatening an individual’s physical or mental well-being.

Operationally, Dr. Security functions when the user presses and holds the SOS button within the app for three seconds or when an emergency is triggered via any of the pre-configured automatic detection methods. In such events, the system transmits critical information including:

• The precise location of the incident
• Personal details and vital health information of the user (enhancing response efficiency)
• Audiovisual recordings capturing the event

This data is received by the Response Center, initiating an immediate verification and response process. The user is contacted by phone, and remote assistance protocols involving qualified health professionals such as nurses and doctors are activated. In cases of extreme urgency, the system directs emergency services to dispatch help through 9-1-1. Additionally, trusted contacts designated by the user are notified to ensure comprehensive support and peace of mind.

24/7 multidisciplinary support is guaranteed via the Dr. Security Response Center, integrated within the TeleMedik Contact Center. Staffed continuously every day of the year by a team exceeding 500 specialists—including social workers, medical professionals, nurses, and trained operators—the center ensures prompt assistance for any emergency situation.

Depending on the severity and nature of the incident, our team can provide immediate remote assistance or escalate to emergency services in a documented manner to optimize response times and user satisfaction.
